Dakota will be reading from his first novel, Nowhere in Peacock, a short story titled Young Love Platoon, and the novel he’s currently writing, The Amy Show. There will be two brief intermissions between each piece.
Dakota Smith is a young fiction writer who recently moved from Texas to New York. He is currently writing his second novel. Dakota also writes plays, and every and now then, pretends to be a poet. Dakota’s favorite person on Earth is his younger brother, Weston. Weston is like if you stretched Dakota to be 6’0, gave him hip & trendy glasses, and then hired him to be a high school history teacher. Dakota is not 6’0, does not wear hip & trendy glasses, and would teach Literature before he taught History.
